The role
Working closely with the General Manager of Finance the Financial Controller will manage and supervise the Finance function for Mondial Assistance, Australia and in doing so will have exposure to a wide variety of work.
This role is responsible for Corporate Taxation, Statutory Financial Reporting, Management Reporting (including budgeting and forecasting cycles), Mondial Group Reporting, and supervision of the Corporate Accounts Payable function.
In this role you will manage several direct reports by encouraging initiative and promoting a culture of motivation and drive.
What we’re looking for
Minimum 5 years post CA/CPA qualifications
3-5 years relevant experience in a Management Accounting/ Financial Controller role
Demonstrated experience in developing reports reflecting earnings, profits, cash balances and financial results
Demonstrated experience in developing and co-ordinating budget and forecasting processes and the ability to manage all taxation accounting and statutory accounts preparation & reporting, ensuring compliance with current legislation and standards
Comprehensive understanding of Corporate Taxation including FBT
Ability to co-ordinate an outcome across multiple functional areas
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead a diverse team by encouraging initiative and promoting a culture of motivation and drive.
