Almost everyone has locked the keys in the car at one time or another. But what would you do if you accidentally locked the keys in the car, along with your child?
A customer had parked their car, when they accidentally locked their young child in the car, with the keys still in the ignition.
The customer’s partner immediately went to retrieve the spare keys, but this was going to take quite some time. So the customer decided to call Mondial Assistance, the Roadside Assistance provider, to see if we could assist in any way.
Inger Faber, our Roadside Customer Service Assistant, arranged for a provider to attend the scene straight away. Sensing their anxiety, Inger updated the customer every five minutes as to when the provider would arrive, and to confirm that the child was showing no signs of distress.
The provider arrived within 15 minutes, quickly retrieving the keys from the vehicle, along with the child, safe and sound. The customer was then able to continue their day, despite a very traumatic start.
