A customer in rural Victoria called for Roadside Assistance in the early hours of the morning. They were about to travel to work, however their vehicle wouldn’t start. As the customer was 160 kilometres out of Melbourne, they were concerned that they may have a long wait ahead to receive help.

The customer called Mondial Assistance, where our Customer Service Assistant, Louise Hile was able to provide support, checking various parts of the vehicle with the customer over the phone, to determine what the problem could be.

After conducting point checks with the vehicle, it was believed to be an electrical fault. As the vehicle wouldn’t start, Louise arranged for it to be towed to the nearest service dealer which was within 25km and much to the customer’s delight, as there was a local provider in the region, the provider turned up in just 25 minutes!

Due to our connection with providers in that area, the customer was able to get to work on time, and their vehicle was sent off for repairs, all within an hour.
